The book "Meyhane Ihtisas Kitabi", which was compiled by Overteam Yayinlari, with the contributions of Mey|Diageo and under the guidance of IWSA, has been honered with two Gourmand awards, one of the world's most prestigious gastronomy awards.
The book "Meyhane Ihtisas Kitabi", which was compiled by Overteam Yayinlari, with the contributions of Mey|Diageo and under the guidance of IWSA (International Wine & Spirits Academy), has attracted a great deal of attention in Türkiye since its publication, and brought further global success. At the Gourmand Awards, one of the world's most prestigious gastronomy awards, the book has received two "Country Winner" awards under the categories of "Food and Drink" and "Drink History". Thanks to these awards, the book has also been entitled to participate in the qualifications of "Best in the World" to be held in Sweden in May 2023.
Serving as a guide for the professionals who intend to open a Turkish tavern or serve in the industry, the book "Meyhane Ihtisas Kitabi" also attracts attention as a fun, popular culture book for regulars and enthusiasts of Turkish taverns. The book tells everything about Turkish taverns, from its history to its architecture, from drinks to cuisine, from management to music, and includes 53 authors, 54 headings, 250 photographs and 160 drawings.
