ISTANBULITES MISS THE THEATER: KUCUKCIFTLIK BAHCE THEATER OPENED ITS CURTAINS TO A FULL HOUSE!

KucukCiftlik Park, the entertainment heritage of the city, brought an open air stage that allows all Istanbulites to breathe, by putting into practice KucukCiftlik Bahce Theater with the organization of URU. KucukCiftlik Bahce Theatre, which opened its curtains with Molière's two immortal works that staged two consecutive days, made a rapid start with the intense interest of Istanbulites. While Haldun Dormen, the living legend of Turkish Theatre, received a standing ovation for several minutes in "Kibarlik Budalasi", in which he played the leading role, "Cimri", the leading role of which is played by Serkan Keskin, played to full house once again. KucukCiftlik Bahce Theatre, which was put into practice with the corporate support of Mey Diageo, received full marks from theater lovers, who showed great interest, with its fully equipped stage and new seating arrangement designed in accordance with COVID-19 measures.

KucukCiftlik Park, which has reached the present day by changing based on the entertainment needs of each period, continues to evolve in accordance with today's current circumstances. KucukCiftlik Park, which has become an escape point for city dwellers, has opened KucukCiftlik Bahce Theater to theater groups with the organization of URU in our current period, by adhering to the principle of volunteering, in order to support the theaters that are separated from their audiences.

Intending to support the culture and art and to support strengthening of the theater art, KucukCiftlik Bahce Theater hosts the most popular plays of different theater groups, while it offers Istanbulites, who have been away from social life for a long time, a place, in which they can breathe and socialize again and safely, and which is accompanied by delicious food in a lush, peaceful garden environment.

The rich and colorful program of KucukCiftlik Bahce Theatre, which brings Istanbulites together with the healing power of theater in the open air, started on August 13 with Molière’s immortal work, "Kibarlik Budalasi", the leading role of which is played by Haldun Dormen, the doyen of Turkish Theatre. The play, which also is played by Hakan Altiner, Damla Cercisoglu, Efe Yesilay, Anil Yulek, Sadi Ozen, Reyhan Aydinsel and Burcu Akyurek, met with the audience for the first time after a long time. On August 14, the play, which is another unforgettable work of Molière, and which is played by Serkan Keskin, Metin Alpargun, Cansu Saka, Hakan Atalay, Onur Yakcinkaya, Sezin Bozaci, Ezgi Ulusoy Tamer, Onur Senol, Ahmet Kaynak, Selen Senay, Ugur Senkeri and Saniye Samra, was staged.

All Hygiene Measure Taken!

KucukCiftlik Park, which cares about the health and safety of its guests and its own team as well as about providing enjoyable times, continues to implement the measures, which has been taken due to COVID-19, at a high level under KucukCiftlik Bahce Theatre. During the events, in which only the online ticketing system is used, and in which no tickets are sold at the door, the guests are allowed to enter the area after their temperature is measured. While it is required to wear a mask in the event area in KucukCiftlik Park, in which the disinfectant units are installed at many points in the common areas, the masks are provided to the audience who do not have a mask. At KucukCiftlik Park, in which the entire area is disinfected before each event, the hygiene rules are implemented at the highest level so that the guests can socialize comfortably. 

The program information and tickets of KucukCiftlik Bahce Theatre, in which the ticket prices vary between TRY 50-145, are determined by theater groups, and they can be obtained from Biletix. Under the program, the doors open at 19.30, while the plays start at 21.00. Tickets can be purchased online from Biletix until the play starts.

Located in the heart of Istanbul, KucukCiftlik Park has been the city's culture and entertainment center since the 17th century.
