21 October 2024
Written and directed by Aksel Bonfil, with production by Kadar and produced by Begüm Ertuğrul, Muskat, starring Esra Dermancıoğlu, is counting down to its premiere.
Preparations are in full swing for the play where Esra Dermancıoğlu will reconnect with theatre audiences. Dermancıoğlu, currently on set in Cappadocia for a TV series, held the play’s rehearsals online. Muskat, performed at Zorlu PSM %100 Studio on October 22 and 23, will offer audiences an unforgettable 60-minute experience. Expressing her excitement, Dermancıoğlu called the play "a manifesto."
A Death in Istanbul, A Night in Paris, Where Fantasy and Reality Collide
Muskat brings to the stage the inner journey of Yaşar (played by Esra Dermancıoğlu), who, after the death of her mother whom she cared for years, finds herself lost in the depths of her mind. As she wanders the streets of Paris in her thoughts, Istanbul’s shadow continually pulls her back to reality.
A Fusion of Light, Sound, and Performance
Expected to be one of the season's most talked-about plays, Muskat will captivate audiences with its sound and lighting design. Presented with no set, Muskat uses lighting and sound to intensify Dermancıoğlu’s performance, giving the story a new dimension.
Muskat is supported by OM Paparazzi, Mey|Diageo, and Arkas Holding. Tickets are available on Biletinial.com.
