The Financial Planning and Analysis Group Director

Erkan Elcin has been appointed as the Financial Planning and Analysis Group Director at Diageo.

Elcin, who previously served as the Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Mey|Diageo, has currently been appointed as the Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Diageo. Elcin is going to manage the financial planning and analysis team and processes across Diageo's global operations.

Erkan Elcin, who has held the position of Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Mey|Diageo since October 1, 2023, has been appointed as the Financial Planning and Analysis Group Director Diageo as of January 19, 2024. As part of the new position he will occupy in Budapest, Elcin will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis team and manage processes for Diageo's global operations, and report to the Global Financial Planning and Analysis Director.

Graduated from the Department of Economics of Middle East Technical University, Erkan Elcin started his professional career in 2006, as a Sales Finance Analyst at Procter & Gamble in 2006. Following this role, Elcin held positions including Finance Manager, Laundry Care Category, Türkiye; Financial Planning Manager, Türkiye, Caucasus and Central Asia; Finance Group Manager, Regional Factories, Hungary; Finance Group Manager, Beauty, Health and Care Sector, Türkiye, and finally Finance Director, Caucasus and Central Asia, at this company.

After his transfer to Mey|Diageo in 2021, Erkan Elcin managed the strategic business partnership of Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams in collaboration with his team. During his tenure, he led the processes of managing exchange rate volatility and scenario planning and implementation to facilitate profitable growth. He brought into life various projects in the fields of Revenue Growth Management (RGM)/Pricing, channel profitability, and return on investment (ROI), in collaboration with the relevant teams. Directing the course of cash acceleration and transformation projects in close collaboration with all functions, Erkan Elcin assumed his role as the Financial Planning and Analysis Group Director at Diageo as of January 19, 2024.
