SUPPLY CHAIN LEADERS RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS

The "Most Influential Supply Chain Professionals in Turkey" awards and the Project of the Year were announced in collaboration with SCP Club, Slimstock, and LODER.

The 10th edition of the "Most Influential Supply Chain Professionals in Turkey" awards ceremony took place on December 4th. Ahmet Özgün Doğan, the Supply Chain Director of Karsan, won the Project of the Year Award.

Before the announcement of the awards, LODER Board Chair Prof. Dr. Gülçin Büyüközkan stated in her opening speech: "We organize this award to share the valuable work of professionals in Turkey. Additionally, we select the best project of the year," she said. Songül Sezer, Country Manager of Slimstock Turkey, also thanked supply chain professionals for their contributions during her speech.

After the opening speeches, project presentations were made. The special guest of the award ceremony was Jonathon Karelse, CEO of NorthFind Management and Author. Karelse highlighted the increasing importance of supply chain management and said, "The impact of effective or ineffective supply chain management became evident during the global pandemic. Supply chain management has become a field that ordinary people, not just supply chain experts, have started to notice."
