PERFORMANCE-BASED BONUS
We place critical importance on retaining our talented employees and strengthening their sense of belonging. In this context, we use various reward methods. As part of our performance systems, we pay an annual performance bonus once a year, the percentage of which is determined based on the company's and the employee's performance. Every employee is included in the annual bonus, and the percentage varies based on their level. Additionally, we provide performance-based bonuses to our field employees in the sales and distribution teams, based on company objectives and internal targets. In addition to these, we have a reward program called the "Emerging Talent Retention Plan" (ETRP), which was implemented to strengthen our talent strategy and retain top talent.
THEY RECEIVE SHARES
Employees with strong potential are nominated for the ETRP program by their managers and included in the process. Employees whose nominations are positively evaluated by the management become eligible to receive a portion of their salary in Diageo shares. The program is open to employees at the manager and specialist levels. For the leadership team, there is a long-term incentive plan. Within this plan, percentage ratios based on annual earnings are defined as stock options for different levels. We also have an instant recognition tool called "Instant Recognition," which provides a reward that can be shared with the employee's family, rather than cash. Those who successfully implement large-scale projects are awarded under the Project Award. Those who make a difference by completing challenging tasks are also recognized with the GM Special Award, where success is celebrated with a special bonus.
