The first gastronomy trainings conducted as part of the Gastronomy Village Project, carried out in collaboration between Samandağ Municipality, the Foundation for the Evaluation of Women's Labor (KEDV), Samandağ Women’s Cooperative, and Mey|Diageo, have been successfully completed. Certificates were awarded to the women who successfully finished the training during a ceremony held at the Suna Polat Youth Center.

The certificate ceremony was attended by Hasan Fehmi Görür, Deputy Mayor of Samandağ, who congratulated the 34 women who completed the training and presented them with their participation certificates. Deputy Mayor Görür stated, "We congratulate our trainee women and thank everyone who contributed. Despite all the disasters we have experienced, we will continue our efforts to prepare our women for life again and work together to improve our district."
